Welcome to the Season 5 Premier of THUNDER TALK! And what better guest host could we hope to have help kick-off our action packed Fall Lineup then Ned Hastings. One of the producers & editors (predators) on the upcoming “Aqua Teen Forever: Plantasm” film, he takes us behind the madness and methodology that goes into some of the greatest Adult Swim programs to ever come out of Williams Street. From Space Ghost Coast to Coast, to The Mooninites, to Squidbillies and much more, Ned has been part of the talented team of women and men who’ve brought you some of televisions craziest and creative content from the beginning!

You know we can’t have TALK without any THUNDER. The music is alive with zero jive in Season 5! Tonight is absolutely no exception as we welcome FEVR! Helmed by Matt Rozo, FEVR is at the very vanguard of today’s Synthwave scene. With a sense of grace à la Depeche Mode plus a cynic’s hint of Public Image Ltd., FEVR delves into pain and possibility while simultaneously honoring and evolving the purest tradition of Post-Punk and New Wave.

And of course your classic cast of characters return with their unique blend of wonderfully whimsical and woke perspectives on not only that sweet nerd junk we all crave, but the world at large! So flick on the Hi-Fi, pour yourself a drink, make a few poor life choices, and drop the needle on LP 1 of THUNDER TALK’s Double Album Season 5 Premier: Exile on Williams St. 💿 Adult Swim's Ned Hastings

OUR LATEST EPISODES

We’re not late. You’re early! Early for our 2023 Holiday Special – Sneak Preview Edition! Join us in the future as we mostly talk about s&*t from the past while subverting your traditions and corrupting our children. Of course Die Hard is a Christmas movie, but what about The Shining? We have a full chorus line of punk’n boys, racist grandmas and unfit parents. Leather clad and ready to… urgh, this is exhausting. Honestly this one’s pretty tame compared to prior episodes.

Adult Swim’s Ned Hastings continues his time on Thunder Talk with more anecdotes and insights from his storied carrier at Williams Street, including more on the upcoming film “Aqua Teen FOREVER: Plantasm”. As a senior sound editor, Ned discusses the creative DNA that indelibly bonds to any project the sound editor contributes to and, in many cases, lives on into the future. Though the comparison would be that of a world renowned maestro to a child spitting into a kazoo, Dan felt a profound association with Ned’s explanation of the intimate connections he’s formed with the actors, characters, and material during the sound editing process. Dan only realized this, however, while he was sound editing Ned for this episode. Oh, and they’re both ridiculously addicted to Star Wars Toys! They talk about that too.

Matt Rozo – FEVR, also returns with that sweet synth sound and continues to lend the sounds of his hopes & fears to the Exile on Williams St. soundtrack. In our second interview we take a deeper dive into his musical catalog and he drops the latest single off his new album, “Suffer”!

All that, plus the whole gang keeps the geek-out going with caddy chit-chats ranging from The Walking Dead, Star Wars, streaming services, SC Comicon, etc… One person’s trope is another person’s identity, tonight on the second album of our Season 5 Premier: Exile on Williams St. LP2 💿 Adult Swim's Ned Hastings
